Having the roof of your property looking good is important as not only does it enhance the appearance in UPVC, it is also maintenance free.
Timber fascias have to be painted regularly to prevent rotting and discoloration caused by weathering, but UPVC never requires painting and does not rot.
We recommend the complete removal of existing timber fascias to truly appreciate the benefits of UPVC roofline products. It may seem more cost effective to have capping boards fitted over existing timber fascias in the short term, but any rotten wood has not gone anywhere, deteriorating more each year. This could result in fixings coming loose, leaving your fascias unsecure and the roofline having to be replaced again at a later date.
